You need to install the windows vista driver made by intel directly. I have the 2100 card. Here is a link to the download page on intel's site. If the link doesn't work, go to intel's site and search for the 2100 card driver for windows vista.

Hi, yes it was kCorp. In the end I got it working by skipping the installation programme and running the driver install directly, I don't remember whether I needed to run it with compatibility set to XPSp2.

Actually I don't remember installing a driver. Although I don't use the built in wireless. I did install a driver for my PC Card wireless that I use, that seemed to hang, but after a reboot it worked fine so it must have hung at some point after the install.

Hi, I'm using a HP TC1100 too, and got Vista installed. I'm just wondering how you managed to get your Wireless LAN working... The driver just won't install on mine, timing out each time.
