I have the 2100 card. Here is a link to the download page on intel's site. In the end I got it working by skipping the installation programme and running the driver install directly, I don't remember whether I needed to run it with compatibility set to XPSp2. Although I don't use the built in wireless. I did install a driver for my PC Card wireless that I use, that seemed to hang, but after a reboot it worked fine so it must have hung at some point after the install.
