• Found "The VDI delusion" a slow, hard read because I already knew & agreed with 95% of it. It was like reading my own reports. 2012-10-10

• Tried to do my morning reading at A&E but its not the same! Reading at Caffe Nero Lytham now instead, much better :-) 2012-10-10
• Unfortunately the stress & shock has triggered a mild flare, so a sore foot is the least of my worries. Time for a treat at Lytham Kitchen. 2012-10-10
• Spent 2 hours in A&E for 5 minutes with the doctor & XRay but at least I know my foot is fine :-) 2012-10-10
• Car runs over my right foot, my left foot hurts way more -- go figure, what s strange body I'm privileged to have! 2012-10-09
• Just had a crazy driver run over my foot, seems he panicked and accelerated rather than braking, thankfully foot seems pretty resilient 2012-10-09
• Stress & immobility, two worst things for me, whole left side sore & throbbing. Jennie & I are going to be a right pair when we go #painlog 2012-10-09
• Jennie is out of theatre & all is well, they kept me on edge for 30 mins longer than they told me it would take, but actual op was on time 2012-10-09
• As she is having a port removed & she only has one of them, the surgeon thought 'side' was irrelevant. Good job I didn't go out for a walk!! 2012-10-09
• Almost gave me a heart attack when he came running in, thought I was being fetched for an emergency, still shaking a bit now 2012-10-09
• Surgeon just ran into cafe to find me, the anaesthetist refused to allow op because consent form didn't say which side to operate on!! 2012-10-09
• Jennie's finally in surgery, 3 attempts to get a needle in but she only suffered for a few minutes. Waiting now for her return 2012-10-09
• The NHS has been the usual comedy of errors. Cancelling operation in error, notifying us of the wrong ward, hopeful all sorted now 2012-10-09
• Finally, we can have cavity wall insulation :-) liking the fact that its free & has industry backed 25 yr guarantee against damp 2012-10-09
