Dear All,
I was recently diagnosed with AOSD at age 55. I am a former college football player, been active all my life, and a life long coach and educator. Late last January I was hit with all the symptons associated with AOSD. After multiple tests and hospital stays, a wonderful rhuematologist diagnosed and has been treating me. First the awful corticosteroids and now a bi-weekly infusion of a drug called Actemra. I work out daily both with weights and cardio to try and keep my heart and joints/muscles strong. The infusion drug has been tremendous. I do have some aches and pains but I am back to work and feeling pretty good. I am concerned about the long term but I have taken a personal vow to live each day as it comes.

I found you have a better understanding on SharePoint, so i am commenting here. I have started working on SharePoint and found that it's much easier to work on the default features. But when we need to customize and add our required controls it becomes unmanageable and takes longer time to finish. One single changes then required to edit many places in code or design. It's tough to develop or work in SharePoint before knowing the whole cycle of any custom changes.

Very interesting Steve. As a sufferer of migraines I can empathise with what you've been prescribed over the years. I too have never really tried or used aspirin.

I've found that I don't have the discipline for GTD. Now I just right my top priority actions on an index card, last thing or first thing in the morning. I have so many todo's that I find it best to forget the ones that I will never get to

Hi Steve, I know this is an ancient article but I was impressed by the content and the clarity. Maybe you can help me as a lot of research has still not helped.

I am trying to use ClickOnce to deploy an application at a client that has several checking counters for outgoing orders.

The application uses a fixed scanner like the checkouts at supermarkets. This all works great with a conventional installation but, given that the client has multiple outlets about 1000 miles apart, this would be a painful distribution.

Using a CheckOnce deployment, how do I use local peripherals? The dll's are listed in the distribution manifests but don't seem to initialise the local scanner.

Your input greatly appreciated.

I was diagnosed with Stills in 1994 and have been dealing with it since. I've also developed Fibromyalgia with Stills....so the muscle aches along with the joint stiffness can be incredible at times. I have used so many different types of medications to try and deal with the pain but it is going to be a life long battle it seems. For those who suffer with this illness my heart goes out to you as this is something that wears you down mentally as well as physically.

Thanks for that review Steve, useful to know. At the moment, we're currently an itunes free household (I don't it will stay that way).

Are you intending to keep up with the blogging? It's been a while.

I think homework should not be banned because it prepares us for the future. It gets us ready to be responsible in our careers or if we have children. If I was a child, I would not want my parents to be irresponsible and not take care of me.
