Absent Minded
This afternoon I went to Halfords to pick up a number plate for my cycle rack, that was quick and efficient, but just as I left I realised that I needed new wipers, so I bought those, no problem. Then I remembered that Debbie wanted her tires pumped and I needed a new pump, so back in I went. Later, after doing the food shopping, I realised that I’d only bought one front wiper, so it was back in again – by then it was slightly embarrassing to be served by the same guy four times.
The day started better, good sleep, no rain, a fantastic sunrise on my bike ride to Lytham, a good 90 minutes reading and then a walk around the park and some body weight exercises followed by toast at Bertie’s. By the time I’d finished my toast it was raining a little so I did the direct ride home. The rest of the morning was spent on four loads of washing, lunch and then I was off to Halfords and Morrison’s. I also paid off the last of the mortgage, making us officially debt free for the first time.
Back from shopping I did a quick session of Yoga Nidra, fell asleep before it ended and so I rolled over and had a nap. Not sure where the rest of the day went, but I fixed the upstairs thermostatic radiator value, made dinner, and packed lunches, got ready for a walk tomorrow and went swimming.
Right now we are watching a strange episode of Bones, probably set in the sixties Hollywood.
