On The Mend
I woke up feeling so much better this morning, I took Tess to college and planned to spend some time in Caffe Nero Preston, but as I was feeling so good I decided to walk to Brockholes. I’d been wanting to walk there again for quite a while, but according to the council the footpath was closed and there were plenty of signs to that effect on the route. Strangely though the actual path was completely passable, so I’m unsure what was going on. Unfortunately Brockholes cafe itself is closed on Monday so I didn’t get to eat any of the scrummy cheese cake, but the walk itself was great.
On the way home I popped into Morrison’s and did a big shop, got home, unpacked, made a couple of cheese cakes, sorted out the washing, cleaned up, had a nap and made dinner for Tess, Debbie and I.
Debbie made supper, which meant I had time to go swimming and although I could only swim widths, because of the aqua aerobics class, I managed to ease my shoulders well.
Anna arrived home from a birthday meal in a very talkative mood and we chatted for a while before starting to watch the new series of Bones.
