Gardening
Paul wasn’t well enough to go for a walk today so I slightly modified my plans and headed to Caffe Nero St Annes on my bike, then I came home, dropped my bag off and cycled to Lytham. I had breakfast at Bertie’s and then walked through the park, along Green Drive and back along the greens, before cycling back home.
The big focus for today was to break the back of the garden ‘raised bed project’ and I achieved that. All of the beds are now in their final resting places, as are the frames. All but one of the beds are now full of compost and the compost bins have all been moved to their resting places. There’s still plenty to do of course, but it’s all tidying up tasks from now on. After two hours in the garden, I read my my book Why E=MC2, did the washing, cleaned the kitchen, had a nap and spent a frustrating hour trying to figure out where I’m going to spend my day tomorrow, east Windermere won.
Debbie was late home today, but we still had time to go out for dinner and watch Bones.
