Typical November Allotment Harvest Day

Every Tuesday we do a harvest for friends and family, it’s a pretty big job, and the highlight of my allotment week.

Last weeks video showed me processing (cleaning and packing) a typical weeks harvest from the allotment. In this video I thought I would show the harvest process instead.

As it’s November the pickings are pretty meagre, but we will be adding lots beans from the freezer and onions, potatoes and squash from the store at home.

In addition to this big crop, we also pick a few containers for ourselves, every couple of days and at this time of year we are drawing from the fruit and veg that we have in store.

If you want to take a look at last weeks video, check it out here https://youtu.be/rn0rjOn5-Sk for more harvest videos there’s a dedicated playlist here too https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFhKoRR-NiCJpKAQ9WIncpb06uyV4oe2v
