Allotment Diary (January – Week 5)
I’m trying something new with my diary, which can now be found here. Rather than just publish it in written form, I’m also going to record a new weekly video, called “The gardening week’.
The diary, will be the show notes for the video
I couldn’t find a place to leave a comment coming from Harvest Monday but read your blog so knew where to look. I always love the pics of your harvest and how you process them. Your growing lights mean you get a really early start – I am champing at the bit but don’t start until feb 14th at the earliest so not long now!
I don’t know about the 14th being the earliest, I think that’s just a myth that’s grown up because Charles Dowding is always going on about it, but it certainly pays be be selective. I grow plenty of stuff without lights, in January and February, especially the alliums : All the best – Steve
Hi Steve
I’ve been watching your Youtube blogs for a while. It’s excellent. I saw in one recently that you said you had posted a link to the shelving, grow lights and plastic tubs you use in your conservatory. They look great and I am keen to replicate your set up! I can’t find the links though. Could you post link?
Hi Lucy, the link is in the video description, here it is https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/stevesseasidekitchengardenallotment
