It’s our allotments open day on Saturday, Debbie and I will be on our plots if you want to come along and say hello #digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
First post COVID harvest and the first time it’s felt like we have an abundance of summer fruits #digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
We’ve had a great first half of the year, grown way more than last year from the same land. The bumper harvests are over now as I turn my focus towards autumn, winter and spring abundance. While harvesting ‘just enough’ over summer #digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
Broke another harvest record this week, brining our total for the year to £4,000 close to a 20% increase on last year from the same land with more increases to come, especially in autumn and spring. I’ve increased close to 20% every year so far #digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
Weekly harvests are just as we like them now, not too big, not too small, just right. We let the table be our guide #digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
All change for me now as harvests reduce to normal and gardening takes a backseat to summer fun #digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
The spring ‘glut’ will be over soon and we will be back to normal harvests and lazy living! #Digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
Today’s harvest, looking very vibrant. Very pleased to have strawberries, broad beans and new carrots in the mix! #Digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
A bit late, but here’s the weekly harvest #digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
Just did a mini harvest due to the foul weather, huge harvests in March by the look of it #digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
Perfect hiking weather, getting fit ready for a busy spring gardening 🙂 #digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
Great to see all of the reservoirs overflowing as we close in on spring #digforvictory #selfsufficient #backyardgarden #kitchengarden #allotment #allotmentlife
