Spring Clean
Winter has been particularly grim for me this year. A combination of serious issues at work, my poor health, the poor health of my youngest three children, uncertainty about my eldest daughters post graduation plans and terrible weather has been quite overwhelming. From so many perspectives then I’m thankful that winter is finally at an end.
I’ve celebrated the start of spring with a thorough house clean, a clear out of my inbox, RSS feeds and email subscriptions. The worst flare I’ve had for many months has come to an end, my three daughters have all returned to health, my eldest has secured a fantastic years study in Japan and the sun is shining.
I’m collecting Steph from Cambridge today which marks the beginning of Easter celebrations for us and after full week at work I will be off to Filey, one of my favourite places in this country, for a weeks holiday. It’s amazing how quickly things can change.
Thank goodness!
The picture is of a baby seal racing for the sea early in the morning on Filey beach. A rare sighting according to a regular beach walker that I met a few minutes later.
