Migraine

Today was dominated by migraine, which was triggered by lack of sleep, which was caused by medication withdrawal – several hours of hell – followed by a few hours of sleeping and then sitting on the sofa with a very woolly head, incapable of doing anything useful.

The day started and ended very nicely though, with an enjoyable trip to the Beach Terrace Cafe in the morning and a trip to Toby’s and the cinema – The Martian again – in the evening.  The, migraine, middle of the day was spent either asleep or watching Stargate Universe.  All in all a pretty good day, but I was sad to miss the chance to go hiking with Matt, although hopefully I will be able to make Cleveleys (pictured) tomorrow with Paul.

Tonight is my last day on meds, a few more days after that and I should be clear of withdrawal symptoms, then I will have to re-learn how to sleep naturally.  Since I can only sleep once I’m exhausted I’m making the most of staying up late and watching the Limitless TV show.
