Flaring
The flare that started yesterday is pulling me down, I’m trying to make the best of it, but it’s still hard to adjust to climbing the stairs being a challenge. Even typing these diary notes is quite difficult given the elbow and wrist pain. As I typically do I’m enjoying foods that I don’t normally allow myself, that makes a flare something of a treat, although I’m not sure that it’s a good idea, it does help me get through it and provided I’m still eating plenty of fruit and veg I don’t think it’s doing me any real harm.
As it’s Sunday I enjoyed a lie in and then walked along the sea front to Caffe Nero. I chose the sea front route despite the flare because it was very icy and the sandy seafront route was by far the safest, given that I’m a bit paranoid about falling right now. After a couple of hours there I did a two of bags of shopping and then headed home. I then did the washing, some more of my colouring book, cleaned up and got stuck into watching Dr Who and then took a nap. The rest of the time was spent in the kitchen, I made two salads for Debbie’s lunch, two fruit salads for supper, two smoothies for me tomorrow and dinner for Tess, Anna, Debbie and me.
I also spent a fair amount of time working on my eBook library, in particular sorting out the books I’ve collected on self sufficiency and sustainability, am amazing 137 books in total and quite an amazing resource.
Tonight Debbie and I are watching Bones.
