Allotment Diary–Tuesday 21 June 2016

Not much going on at the allotment today, painted another half pallet and put up two pallets, so the fence is almost done.  Jon is finishing off the last of the pallets this afternoon.

Cropped and pulled up a row of chard, I still have three mature rows and more close to being ready at home, so I have plenty.  I planted a row of beetroot in it’s place.

Before I left I watered all of the seedlings and the tomatoes.  There’s no rain forecast for a week now, so I will be back to regular watering and weeding tomorrow.

Finally I cropped a big bag of mixed leaves for my smoothie and peas and beans for Debbie’s salad.
