When The Tide Comes In

It’s a rare sight to meet the incoming tide in the morning, so there was little choice about today’s photo.  I woke at about 8am and headed out as soon as possible as it was a glorious day.  I walked to Fairhaven Lake and then back through the dunes to the Beach Terrace Cafe, had breakfast and then walked down the prom and to the end of the northern dunes.  It was a glorious morning.  The afternoon was spent messing around doing my final packing, copying videos to my phone to watch on the trip, making sure everything was charged, getting my food prepared and doing last minute chores.  I had a quick nap in the afternoon as I doubt I will be getting much sleep tomorrow, although I’m going to try and sleep from 10pm-12:30 and from 2am-6am tomorrow.  I’ve done my research and I’m hoping to spend my 4 hour stop-off in London at Caffe Nero and walking along the Thames or around the parks, hopefully unhindered by my rucksack.
